The Intrepid Eye Society has announced a new webinar featuring the online course, “Reducing the Risk of Blindness from AMD” on Weds., March 10, at 8:30 p.m. Eastern Time.
More than 10 million Americans have age-related macular degeneration (AMD). While many optometrists diagnose and manage AMD patients on a daily basis, why is there such a huge variation in practice patterns? What exactly is AMD? When can we confidently make the diagnosis? What advice should we be giving patients if we use an evidence-based approach? How can we improve outcomes and help prevent blindness? This course will answer those questions.
