The Power Practice, a practice consulting service that strives to help OD-owners to achieve their practice growth potential, is launching a practice analytics software program designed to allow participating ODs to instantaneously review the performance of their practice.
This highly customized, proprietary program, named Inzuzo, is the result of a strategic alliance with Glimpse, a data diagnostic company. It is available exclusively to Power Practice clients.
“With Inzuzo, OD-owners and their Power Practice support team can instantly have a real time, detailed and accurate window into the operations of the practice,” says Gary Gerber, OD, Chief Dream Officer and founder of the Power Practice.“The days of making decisions based on gut or shooting in the dark are passed.” Rather, equipped with highly detailed information, the doctor (counseled by their Power Practice consultant and coach) can make changes that are necessary to improve their practice’s performance, Dr. Gerber explains.
“Our doctors will also have the ability to instantly compare, in real time, on a day-to-day basis, how they are trending compared to other like practices. Working together with Glimpse, we have developed the absolute best-in-class analytic for our doctors,” says Dr. Gerber. Plans are to have 90 percent of all Power Practice clients on the system by the end of 2016. “At that point, we begin to reap the benefits of aggregate data from all practices and further refine the benchmarks by which we can intelligently manage,” Dr. Gerber adds.
OD-owners can instantly see detailed optical sales (numbers of frames, types of lenses sold and accurate capture rate), numbers of types of contact lenses dispensed, numbers of ancillary tests performed, the ability to compare individual employee sales and production performance, and a host of other proprietary metrics.
