He also recommends participating in benevolent programs like AOA’s InfantSEE that make a positive difference in the visual welfare of patients. Being involved in these groups and programs provides a key opportunity to demonstrate the full scope of what optometrists do, and, in turn, to attract and welcome new and entire families to the practice.
