June 8, 2016

The Ninth Annual Prevent Blindness Swing Fore Sight Golf Tournament, held in conjunction with Vision Expo West, will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2016, at the Spanish Trail Country Club in Las Vegas.

All proceeds from the event will go to support the sight-saving programs and services of Prevent Blindness, the nation’s oldest volunteer eye health non-profit organization. Registration and breakfast will begin at 6 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 7 a.m.

Transitions will serve as the event’s gold sponsor. Sponsorships are available including the cart sponsor, award sponsor, breakfast or lunch sponsors, hole sponsors, golfer gift sponsors and more.

“Our Swing Fore Sight Golf Tournament is a fantastic opportunity to spend a relaxing day on the links while helping to provide the much-needed funds to help save sight in adults and children across the country,” says Hugh R. Parry, president and CEO of Prevent Blindness.

Foursomes are available for $2,750 and individual golf slots are $700 for the four-person scramble. Those interested can join leading vision industry representatives on the Swing Fore Sight golf committee including co-chairs Dave Pierson, J. David Optical Consultancy and Michael Block, The Block Business Group.
