OD Excellence (ODX) announced that online registration has opened for the company’s National Conference, which is to be held at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego, Calif. Now in its third year, the ODX National Conference brings professionals, vendors and experts together for a three-day gathering. The theme for this year’s conference is “Navigate Your Future: Innovate. Motivate. Succeed.”

The three-day event features a full schedule of education sessions with separate tracks for doctors and their staff aimed at accelerating the success of their practice, along with personal coaching sessions and exhibitions by the optical industry’s premier vendors. Despite increasing the exhibition hall space for 2013, ODX forecasts the conference to completely sell out once again.
Optical professionals from across the industry continue to praise the OD Excellence model of improving their practice. Stephen Hedges, OD, recipient of the National Practice of the Year award in 2012 notes, “My business is up 36 percent in the first six months of the year, and this is not something I would have ever believed possible before ODX.”
Conference registration opened in January and is expected to fill well before the event date. The conference is open to any optical professional; however, as part of their member benefits, ODX Affiliate Members attend the conference free of charge, including two nights of hotel accommodations.
