OD Excellence is holding two regional conferences. The first will be held in Pittsburgh, Penn., and the second will be held in the San Francisco Bay Area in California. These educational programs are focused on bringing together the best team of educators in forums like these to make sure the doctor’s practice remains at the cutting edge. These conferences are intended to offer insight from expert speakers, engagement with their peers, coaching and knowledge on trending topics such as:
I’m right—You’re Crazy: Diabetes & AMD from the Trenches, presented by Paul Chous, OD and Jeffry Gerson, OD, in which speakers use case examples to present key concepts in the prevention, diagnosis and management of both AMD and diabetes-related eye disease. Attendees will explore areas of agreement and controversy in this interactive course.
Glaucoma: The Latest Concepts in Contemporary Glaucoma Care, presented by John McGreal, OD. This course reviews new diagnostic and therapeutic technologies, office equipment, new pharmaceutical agents, emerging surgical trends and literature updates.
OD Excellence, delivering Excellence in medical and practice management, will include sessions for doctors and management. Plus staff education that will optimize and streamline optical departments and office operations. The coaching sessions offer an opportunity to sit with experts and ask questions.
