Nominations Now Being Accepted for the 2012 Transitions Awards

Transitions Optical, Inc., is now accepting nominations for its annual Transitions Awards program. The awards recognize independent laboratories, eyecare practices and retailers for their year-long commitment to enhancing vision and changing the way their customers see the world.

Nominees will be evaluated on their 2012 efforts, including commitment to photochromic growth; alignment to Transitions Optical and participation in programs and promotions; marketing initiatives; education and training efforts; and community involvement. Candidates can self-enter, or can be nominated by a lab, lens manufacturer or other industry organization representative. Up to three finalists in each category (Transitions Lab of the Year, Transitions Eyecare Practice of the Year and Transitions Retailer of the Year–regional and national categories) will be honored during the 2013 Transitions Academy, to be held January 27-29 at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando, Fla.

“From the beginning, our partnerships have been integral to both our culture and success,” says Brian Hauser, general manager, U.S. and Canada, Transitions Optical. “We are pleased to be able to continue the Transitions Awards program to help celebrate those who are advocates of the Transitions brand and are truly making a difference in elevating health and promoting healthy sight within their communities.”

All nominations are due by November 2, 2012, and finalists will be announced in December. For additional information and to request a nomination form, contact your Transitions Optical representative or Transitions Optical Customer Service at CService@Transitions.com.
