New Binocular Hand-Held Refractometer and Vision Analyzer

Adaptica has introduced the 2WIN, a hand-held binocular refractometer and vision analyzer. It measures refraction of both eyes at the same time, at a distance of about three feet, or 1 meter. It is particularly indicated for measuring refraction of infants and children from two months of age, seniors, impaired and non-cooperative patients.

Exam time is about five seconds only. It does not require dilating drops and is non-invasive.

Working in natural binocular conditions, the 2WIN simultaneously enables you to evaluate not only refractive errors, but also gaze direction, ocular alignment, pupil diameter, pupil distance and the accommodative balance and unbalance between the two eyes, making it an all-in-one process that is easy and effective for both practitioner and patient. The 2WIN comes with a portable, hard-carry case, two batteries and two years full warranty. Battery operation assures you will never have to interrupt your patient screening.
