Jennifer Stewart, OD, Professional Editor of Independent Strong, was named a 2022 Eyecare Business (EB) Game Changer Awardee. Dr. Stewart was selected in the magazine’s fifth annual Game Changer Awards, alongside nine other highly respected optometrists and opticians who delivered support, guidance and vision to change the eyecare arena this year for good – and usher in positive change.
With experience in academia and private practice, Dr. Stewart has been a proponent of private independent practice optometry and opticianry her entire career. She is a globally recognized speaker, with a passion for helping optometrists with operations, optical success, contact lens sales and practice management. Her work as a consultant, speaker, writer, educator and mentor in the eyecare field, coupled with her strong passion for independence in the eyecare industry, aligned her with the EB Game Changer Awards.
