You might have a website for your practice, but are you using social media as well? Websites require updating, and some optometrists wind up hiring someone to do the updating for them. As our story on social media shows, many optometrists are using services like Twitter, Facebook, and Yelp! to drive patients to their businesses, at little or no cost.

The results of a recent survey of graduates of the Management & Business Academy (MBA) for Eye Care Professionals, sponsored by CIBA VISION and Essilor, show how optometrists are using websites and social media in their practices.
