Vision Expo East in New York City offered a glimpse of current patient needs, and the many coming technologies to serve those needs. Continuing education, booth talks, special events like the Vision Monday Global Leadership Summit, and connecting with peers informally, created a valuable learning and social environment.
ADVANCING TECHNOLOGY. Artificial intelligence machines that do autonomous refractions and visual fields machinery that function without the need for patient response, are just a couple of the exciting technologies previewed.
CONSUMER INSIGHTS. The Vision Monday Global Leadership Summit highlighted the changing expectations of consumers, and how online, and in-office, optometrists can create a high-quality, memorable experience.
NETWORKING. Booth talks with experts on hand to discuss medical eyecare, technology and patient relations, coupled with formal continuing education, offered an opportunity for interactive learning.
