Jeri Schneebeck, OD, FCOVD, owner of Highline Vision Center in Aurora, Colo., tapped a family member’s talents to make a strong local connection in her practice. Her uncle, Chuck Schneebeck, is an accomplished nature photographer, and she has populated her waiting areas, hallways and rooms with prints of Western nature scenes that he shot. The photography, which is printed with an aluminum infusion technique that maximizes color and drama, enhances the Colorado mountain lodge design of the practice. The photography generates a lot of comments from patients, and the staff directs inquiring patients to the photographer’s web site to view and purchase his work.
