EyeCarePro to Deliver Services to PERC & IVA

The Professional Eyecare Resources Co-Operative (PERC) and Infinity Vision Alliance (IVA) announced a comprehensive agreement with EyeCarePro to deliver all levels of online marketing services and data to their over 1,600 locations.

“We were looking for a comprehensive, innovative and robust approach to an online presence for our members. The challenge, given the diversity of the practices within our two organizations, was to find a partner who could provide a full continuum of services,” says David Golden, OD, president and co-founder of PERC. “EyeCarePro is a sophisticated company specifically focused on optometry and whose mission is focused on bringing new patients to our offices.”

PERC and IVA say they are innovating the Doctor Alliance (DA) or Group Purchasing Organization (GPO ) with their mission: to keep the independent eyecare provider independent and thriving. “The purpose of the GPO is to leverage the purchasing power and strength of the membership to build tools for their member practices to stay independent, compete and grow,” says Dr. Golden. “Material discounts are important, but the real value comes in building systems, programs and e-commerce platforms for member practices to thrive. EyeCarePro will join a select group of partners who have helped us develop what we think is the most sophisticated tools for the independent doctor.”

“The partnership with EyeCarePro will include web site design, search engine optimization, content development, business-to-business and other offline marketing to name a few,” says Michael Porat, COO of EyeCarePro.  “In addition, EyeCarePro is developing a specific, higher-level service for the high-volume PERC practices.  Under the PERC Advantage label, ODMarketing Director will be a comprehensive and tailored approach to marketing practices that already have significant market share in their community.”

“PERC and IVA share our core business value in that if we cannot deliver you the best value for your practice to compete, there should not be a contract standing in your way from aligning with a better partner,” says Daniel Rostenne, CEO of EyeCarePro. “Like our partners in PERC and IVA, we do not require contracts from our customers as they work with us for as long as we are delivering on our promise of new patients.”

EyeCarePro says it anticipates, and is prepared for, a rapid implementation across many of the PERC and IVA practices. They have built a metrics dashboard for reporting the marketing results for each practice to monitor their return on investment, and to be able to compare their practice results to their group via EyeCarePro’s PowerData that tracks over 1,400 optometric practices in the US and Canada.
