The American Optometric Association (AOA) says it will focus on the future of the profession during Optometry’s Meeting in Seattle, Wash., and that outlook starts in the AOA House of Delegates. This legislative and policy-making body of the AOA is composed of delegates representing members of the affiliated associations, and elects officers and trustees to the AOA Board of Trustees.
Below are the incumbent candidates and newcomers striving to represent the optometric profession on the AOA Board of Trustees.

Steven A. Loomis, OD, of Colorado, has filed for the office of president after serving on the board since 2007. READ MORE

Optometry’s Meeting will be held June 24-28, 2015, with the House of Delegates meeting on Thursday, June 25 and Saturday, June 27.
