Alcon Introduces New OPTI-FREE Package Stickers

August 30, 2017

Alcon announced that US OPTI-FREE multi-purpose solution (MPS) packaging will now display a pink sticker to help consumers separate the product from its competitors.

To further differentiate these products from others on the shelf, the new sticker also highlights that OPTI-FREE products feature an exclusive MPS formula that is not found in private-label brands.†

These stickered OPTI-FREE products are currently being sold at all major U.S. retailers nationwide.

“The new package stickers are a simple way to highlight to consumers that OPTI-FREE is the multi-purpose solution portfolio most recommended by doctors, and that it offers an exclusive formula compared to store-brand formulas,” says Carla Mack, OD, FAAO, and senior director professional strategy for Alcon US Vision Care. “Whether a parent is purchasing for the whole family, or a new college student is buying his or her own MPS for the first time, the visual cue of the pink sticker helps ensure patients have an easier time identifying the product at shelf.”
