ABB OPTICAL GROUP announced it will begin accepting applications for its third annual ABB Cares Program on Aug. 1.
The program is open to eyecare professionals who want to nominate an outstanding non-profit organization in their community. ABB Optical Group will award an ABB Cares Platinum grant of $5,000, two Gold grants of $2,500 each and four Silver grants of $1,000.
Organizations do not need to focus on eye health to qualify. To be considered, all organizations must:
• Be a 501 (c)(3) organization and must be able to provide proof of status.
• Have a local office within 30 miles of the nominating practice’s primary location.
• Applications must be completed and submitted online.
• The deadline to submit an application is 11:59 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, Aug. 31
“Through ABB Cares, we can support those organizations that are recognized as difference makers by those in our industry,” says Angel Alvarez, CEO ABB Optical Group. “We are thrilled to highlight these non-profits and the eyecare professionals who nominate them. Together they are making a positive impact in their local communities.”
