3-Part Virtual Educational Program on Scleral Lens Fitting Launches

Eaglet Eye is relaunching a three-part virtual educational program, the “Eaglet Eye Scleral Lens Series.”

The series, which begins on May 3, and is hosted by Thomas P. Arnold, OD, FSLS,  is a free, three-part educational program designed to take participants’ understanding of scleral lens fitting to the next level. Participants will have an opportunity to learn from the experts about ocular shape and cutting-edge scleral lens fitting – intended for new practitioners as well as advanced fitters.

BASICS of scleral fitting

Tuesday, May 3, 2022 | 7:00pm – 8:00pm (EST)

By Jason Jedlicka, OD. We will discuss scleral shape and good candidates for scleral lenses. We will also review scleral fitting basics including get fundamental knowledge of Profilometry maps and parameters. After this course you will have a better understanding of the ocular and scleral shapes, you will be able to interpret basic 3D-height Profilometry maps and to use these for easier scleral fitting.

NEXT LEVEL on how to improve scleral fitting

Tuesday, May 10, 2022 | 7:00pm – 8:00pm (EST)
