Shamir Insight has officially announced the launch of two products, designed for the modern consumer in the digital age: Glacier Expression, a next-generation anti-reflective lens coating, and an update to Autograph Intelligence.
Shamir Insight’s Glacier Expression lens coating is designed to deliver sharper vision and reduced eye strain, while an anti-reflective function is featured to “make it easier for consumers to express themselves and form deep social connections.”
To illustrate the effectiveness of these two products, Shamir released the following study results comparing Glacier Expression lenses to other non-coated lenses:
- 63 percent of subjects felt more connected to subjects wearing Glacier Expression lenses, compared to 47 percent who said the same for the same person wearing different lenses.
- 70-80 percent of respondents stated they showed empathic behavior toward subjects wearing Glacier Expression lenses, compared to only 28-34 percent of those respondents who felt similarly for subjects not wearing anti-reflection coating.
- 72.5 percent of participants indicated that people wearing Glacier Expression lenses appeared very trustworthy, which is more than three times that of the control group.
- 80 percent of participants indicated that they felt very connected to the people they met wearing Glacier Expression lenses, which is almost 2.5 times the control group.
Autograph Intelligence is an updated version of a previous Shamir lens design created using next-generation artificial intelligence technology. This product is designed “to deliver natural vision and sharp focus at every distance, ideal for the modern consumer, who works and interacts with digital screens daily.”
